Behind the Scenes: Filming for The Herald in Edinburgh

Go behind the scenes with Simmerdim as we film a cinematic campaign for The Herald’s expansion into Edinburgh. Shot across two days at iconic locations including the Scott Monument, Easter Road, and Portobello Beach, this production highlights our work as director, cinematographer and editor. Using the Sony FX6 and A7SIII with Ronin RS3, and planning every frame around Edinburgh’s best natural light, we created a film that captures the city and its journalism at their best.
